What exercise can be done without leaving the house that will help with weight loss?

i dont have any expensive equipment
How much space do you have? You could: jump rope, create a circuit training program (that means, do something like: jog in place for X minutes, then drop and do push ups, then do star jumps, work on your abs, and vary it up a bit to essentially work your muscle groups while keeping your heart rate up). You could also do yoga or do some exercises with exercise videos or television shows. Your goal should be to get your heart rate up and work up a sweat while working your large muscle groups — and to do this consistently (IE: 5 times/week) for consistent amounts of time (IE: an hour each session). I also think that you would really benefit from getting outdoors and going for walks. Good luck!

there are a bunch of things you can do. get some exercise dvd's or watch FIT and do one of those programs. if you like to dance then be bop around the house.

Dancing? Running up and down stairs? Step ups (use bottom step) Sit ups, press ups. Get a dance workout DVD. Find something you enjoy doing

Running up and down stairs a few times uses a lot of calories- also heavy housework can use up calories.
Get an exercise DVD or video and do that at home.
Walk on the spot for a few minutes a time.- oh there is lots youcan do - but why don't you want to leave the house?

squats
these tone quite alot,
get a trampoline they are very cardio-vascular and make me excercise and its fun
u could run up and down the stairs, another one that rocks is just get a dance track on in ur room and dance to it! it builds up such a sweat and can be a better workout than a run!

why don't you want to leave the house? you should start by just walking around the block or to the corner of your street every day. the only way you are going to lose weight is if you do cardio. it would be hard to do it in the house without any equipment like a treadmill.
wait! why don't you try ordering a workout video and doing that everyday. just move the coffee table out of the way!
