I am trying to lose weight in my stomach area. Any key tips for losing in the mid-section?

January 20th, 2009

I am quite large in the mid-section, and I want to lose it fast. However it seems like I lose my weight everywhere else but there. Any diet or exercise tips for losing in that section?

lots of crunches! i do 1000 a day. try by doing 300/day. 100 morning, 100 evening, 100 in night. i also do "3 inches." it's a grueling stomach exercize but works great. you lay down on your back. put hands under your butt. lift legs 3 inches off ground and hold for a 25 seconds. then put legs back on ground and repeat. i do this for about 10-15 minutes but you might want to start with only 10 sets.

Again, for the third time in ten minutes, spot fat reduction is a myth. You have to lose it everywhere. Doing ab work will make them bigger and, therefor, stick out a little more, but if you don't lose the fat, you'll probably never see 'em.

Wherever fat shows up on your body first….is where it will leave last. Sorry, but I didn't make this rule up- that is a fact of nature. Genetics decides where and when fat gets removed. So, if you ever recall where you started gaining weight- that will be the last place to go.

Get on any cardio program. Raising your heart rate, is the KEY to burning fat. Runners and cyclists swear by it!

All the doctors and dieticians say targeted weight loss is unlikely, specifically in the waist and belly places, but I managed it with acai berry. I know they say that pills don't work, however they definitely worked for me, and they have been featured on the Rachael Ray Show too. There is a free trial on at the moment at http://tubitarn.informs.com , why not try it, what is the worst that could happen?

Targetted weight reduction is quite tough, many would say impossible, nevertheless the only thing that really showed results for me was wu-yi tea, it can be checked out in the resource box below, they have a few free trials in stock, it was featured in Reader's Digest and USA Today. I lost 30 pounds, it really does produce success!

    Hi
rather than trying to lose weight it is best to tone up the muscles in this area. Good excersise is lay on back and slowly lift straight legs.
